"We are proud to nominate Kim Martus as an exceptional occupational therapist! Kim services Oakland County Michigan’s most severely impaired students (SXI and SCI) ages 3-26 at Wing Lake Developmental Center. As fellow educators, we have gained an immense amount of knowledge working with Kim to meet students' needs. Kim understands students' developmental needs, individual growth, and strives to help them reach their personal best through therapy and also by assisting staff and families. Her knowledge of body mechanics, fine motor needs, sensory implementation, and equipment to support behavioral/sensory needs is imperative to ensure that all students excel in an environment where they feel success and comfort. Kim Martus is a phenomenal occupational therapist who deserves recognition for all that she does everyday to support students, staff, and families!"
