Acceptance is defined as a 'favorable reception,' 'approval' or 'favored.' This Day of Acceptance, parents, people with disabilities and special needs, self-advocates and many supporters want to Embrace, Educate & Empower.  

Embrace the diversity of all people, Educate by telling others about the things that make us different and the things that we have in common. Empower people with disabilities and different abilities to shine and not feel or be unwelcomed.
